What to expect.

Helping you feel calmer before we even begin.

What happens after you enquire about my services?

Asking for help or support can be overwhelming, especially when you don’t know what’s going to happen next.

That’s why I do everything I can to make you feel comfortable right from the start by giving you a quick breakdown of what to expect:

A free, safe, no-pressure intro call.

Once you’ve completed the online form, we’ll arrange a quick call so I can introduce myself and you can hear my voice. There’s no pressure or commitment—just a friendly hello.

2.

A free 45-minute consultation.

We’ll have an in-person or virtual consultation for 45 minutes. The consultation is free to make sure I’m the best fit for you. I’ll always be honest about whether I think I can help and I also want to ensure you’re happy to move forward with me.

Regular consultations.

The consultation plan will be tailored to work for you. Whether that’s once a week or once every few months, we’ll find the right balance that keeps you feeling supported.

Tools you can use in everyday life.

Every session will leave you with practical tools and simple strategies to help with areas like reducing anxiety, improving confidence, and feeling more in control.

The details that matter.

I want you to feel you have all the information you need to make the right choice for you. When you work with me:

  • All sessions are private, confidential, and non-clinical. My office is a calm and kind space with no waiting room or white coats in sight.

  • I’m based in Dundonald, Ayrshire, but regularly help people from all over the UK through Zoom sessions.

  • The intro call and first full consultation are completely free. You’ll never be charged for these.

  • The biggest thing to note is this is a safe space. As a Samaritans volunteer, I’ve spent years listening without judgement and support people through their hardest moments. That same care and empathy is carried through to every session here.

Some lovely words from clients.

“I was a person who couldn’t leave their room, struggled with addiction and made an attempt at my life. Donna has helped me understand myself and build healthy coping mechanisms. If you’d have told me 4 months ago that I’d be starting my dream job and be able to go through the day with a clear head, I’d have laughed in your face. For the person reading this fighting their own battles - rock bottom is the best place to build foundations. Take the first step, it will be the start of the rest of your life.”

“Donna has been absolutely phenomenal and I love working with her. She’s thoughtful and encouraging and a true joy to be around. I’d highly recommend her services. In the short time we’ve worked together, she has truly worked wonders. I look forward to every session!”

“Thanks to Donna, I no longer suffer from panic attacks and the intense anxiety/depression I lived with for years. It no longer takes over my life or defines who I am. Her help has allowed me to become a much better version of myself, so much so, that I am inspired every day to help others experiencing similar mental health issues and I’m comfortable to share my own experience with others now too so that they can get the help they deserve.”

You’re safe here.
